With our Volume & Hold Scrunching Gel you can conjure up perfectly defined, frizz-tamed curls full of bounce and natural shine! Thanks to a natural styling polymer made from corn, the gel shapes your curls to perfection and gives them flexible , medium-strong hold .

The lightweight formula spreads effortlessly and allows you to shape individual curls. As it dries, it creates a medium-strength gel cast that holds your curls in place. Once you break the gel cast, you're left with vibrant, defined curls - shiny, frizz-free and full of bounce. The fat-free formula provides flexible hold and a weightless, voluminous result.

Enriched with nourishing betaine and apple extract , the gel provides your hair with moisture and care without weighing it down. The refreshing scent of orange and lemon balm perfectly rounds off the styling experience.

If your hair loves a lot of hold, we recommend layering 2 gels one after the other. At Curl Bites we also call this the 2-Step-Hold System , with which you can achieve maximum definition and maximum hold:

1. The Volume & Hold Scrunching Gel is applied first and gives the necessary volume and beautiful fullness, with a medium hold.
2. The second gel is the Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel , which provides strong hold and extra definition.

Together, the 2 gels are unbeatable and work perfectly together to provide long-lasting definition and enough lightness to achieve maximum volume and bounce.

The curl gel is applied directly after the leave-in conditioner to fix the definition and give the hair hold for days.

Step 1: First, make sure your hair is still wet. If it is a little dry, cover your hair with water again using a spray bottle. Then rub the product between your palms and distribute it throughout your wet hair.

Step 2: Gently but firmly scrunch the hair in upward motions to make the curls bounce and form their pattern. Make sure you have used enough product. If your hair tends to fall out quickly, we recommend applying the gel in 2 coats.

Optional step 3 for mega definition: If your hair loves a lot of hold, we recommend layering 2 gels one after the other. At Curl Bites we also call this the 2-Step-Hold System, with which you can achieve maximum definition and maximum hold.

To do this, apply Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel as a second gel, which provides strong hold and extra definition.
These two gels work perfectly together to provide long-lasting definition and enough lightness to achieve maximum volume and bounce.

Step 4: Now diffuse the hair with a hairdryer on medium-high setting and medium heat. Make sure to turn your head in all directions while drying to increase the volume.

Step 5: Once the hair is completely dry, scrunch it again to break the gel cast and make your hair super soft and smooth.

➡️ What is a gelcast anyway? Holding ingredients leave a clear film on dry hair. In the world of curls, we call this "gelcast". It is a hard layer around the individual strands of hair, the hair feels frozen and/or looks "wet". This is a very good sign of great hold and definition. We simply have to knead this gelcast out of the hair and conjure up the defined, soft, bouncy curls and waves that we want.
